Really don't get what gerrycueto was hearing, because there's no sound below 73 Hz in the break of All Day other than a bit of noise that is barely audible. The only glitch I can hear is that when the bass note switches to an A, 110 Hz, it sounds a bit out of tune with other parts. You get used to it though, and I actually think it sounds quite nice with that slight dissonance.
The hihat is too strong though, making for that too bright sound in the range above 9397 Hz. It becomes painful when it's still too high at 16744 Hz, and I believe simply reducing the track volume would help.
Anyway, the piano lead in Alisa will always be on of my favourites. It's just a pity it's a little soft and too far at the back with not enough compression on it, but then again there are always going to be a few such mixing issues, especially in old releases. Really looking forward to some new stuff. :) |
