sky and me and were there for that. he spun a 6+ hour set. the line wrapped entirely around the block when we got there and we were freezing, but surprisingly we got in pretty quick, just as he was going on. that was the last time i went to soundfactory. his set was absolutely amazing, but the crowd was SO AWFUL that i passed out twice right in the middle of the crowd from heat exhaustion and claustrophia just trying to get to the bathroom. we had to leave an hour before he started his encore b/c of the rates at the parking garage we were parked in, and i heard from my friends that stayed that his last hour was absolutely amazing, and if memory serves me correctly, he ended with For An Angel, and for whatever reason (i guess i wasnt sick of it yet) i wanted so badly to hear that song that night.
but yeah... never went back to SF. |

sounds good to me...
crobar yesterday was ridiculous with the 18+. i had to wait about 2 hours to get in. so even that room downstairs outside the main room was fricking packed. unbelievable. it didn't seem like there were a lot of 18+ out there. but u can kinda tell who was 18+... |

I myself personally think that, age does not define one's character.
It's how the character defines himself.
There are some very mature 21- people. It's just a number.
Age and maturity does not always go into one, as when you're older, you're more mature. That I don't believe in.

Even when I was in college and 21, I used to think the incoming freshmen at 18 were on another planet. The control factor hadn't been developed yet.
Now consider that I'm 28 and hanging out with 18 years old. That's scary! But of course there are always exceptions to the rule.
Basically though it's just about having too many people packed in there at 18+ gigs. The line outside Sasha Friday night was the worst I've ever seen at Crobar. |

yes agreed...armin seemed fine as 18+ but S&D was 18+ and it was really packed -- great for the bottom line of course so most likely pvd will be 18+. but yea vlad im hoping ur right about the 21+ |

| i find this totally ridiculous AND I HOPE THIS IS 18+ considering I'm 19 and i LOVE PVD'S SETS,i dont see why it should b 21+ some of u people are real ignorant and a little selfish about that, i mean when i go to Europe people dont even bitch about shyt like this and how it should only b 21+ bcuz there its pretty much 18 to get in period... |

| I knew that some of you people that are under 21 wouldnt like the idea, but Im sorry. I dont want to have my night ruined by some underage punks. Not all of them are like that, but there is a good number of them that dont know how to behave. |

Yea, and there was a time when I wasnt... I had to miss Sander K and Erick Morillo @ Crobar in November because my birthday wasnt for a nother 2 weeks (which I think is worse than being 18 or 19 and not being able to go) - I missed Sasha & Digweed @ Crobar in April - I missed Zabiela, the list goes on... but I had to accept it and deal with it. |

| PVD events at Roxy were 18+ and they were just fine. Roxy's venue was a bad choice because it got rediculiously hot and the sound sucks if you were anywhere else besides the center of the dancefloor. Age ain't nothing but a number. So it means that a couple of extra immature kids will be there. Some of us 21+ peeps can be immature as well;) Anyway, it doesn't matter. Every event I have been to at Crobar has been 21+ anyway. I don't see that changing, not even for PVD. It sucks fo under 21, but like Vlad said, we've all been thru it. |
