Alrighty folks, just wanted to let you know I've added a new set to the site. This week I've gone for a loud, melodic trance theme, so turn up those subs. Some might say it's cheesy, but others just say it's fun. A rather eclectic mix of old and new as well, just to mix things up a bit. The playlist is below:

(0:00:00) Recluse - Isle Dauphine (Intro Mix)
(0:06:11) Delerium - After All (Svenson & Gielen Remix)
(0:12:05) Super8 - Cre8 (Original Mix)
(0:18:31) Solar Stone - Solarcoaster (Midway Mix)
(0:25:28) Push - The Legacy (Club Mix)
(0:32:34) Oceanlab - Beautiful Together (Seraque Mix)
(0:38:45) Rollerball - Albinoni (Super8 Remix)
(0:43:42) DJ Tiesto feat. BT - Love Comes Again (Mark Norman Mix)
(0:49:45) Above & Beyond - No One On Earth (Gabriel & Dresden Remix)
(0:56:12) Chicane - Saltwater (Tomski vs. Disco Citizens Remix)
(1:04:03) Endre - I Kill For You (Probspot Mix))
(1:10:29) Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Three 'N One Update)
(1:17:48) BT - The Force of Gravity (Dylan Rhymes Push Up Mix)

The file can be found at www.djhorus.com. I've decided to try an update once a week, with rotating genres. Next week will feature a rather smooth, deep house mix. Let me know what you think! :D

TL looks amazing. I DLed and listened. Overall the mix is good, but the mixing wasn't as great as I would have hoped. You aligned your beats just fine and found decent transition points but I could tell that new tracks were coming in, it was quite noticable and I look for as seemless mixes as possible. Oh well. Stil; a good job done tho :)

Thanks for the reply. It's funny, you mention the lack of seamless transitions, because if I had to name one thing (of many, mind you) I needed to fix, that would be it. I find it odd that trance is harder for me to do seamless than other genres, like house.

I'l glad you liked the TL. I've been worried that a mix of old & new would have some people complaining about the rehashing of old anthems. Personally, I like to mix the old and the new, so you can catch the attention of a wider audience.

Why limit yourself to just new tunes dude, you have the WHOLE musical world to play with - a great DJ doesn;t just play new tunes and hammers armins ASOT episode , he finds old and classic tunes to make a magical journey into music!

Good stuff :-)
