My keyboard came in the mail yesterday and I've been mucking around with the same problems. I got it working eventualy though, just had to reboot and close and reopen fruity a few times and then I was able to hear stuff play when I tapped the keys. Make sure your controller shows up in the midi config options.
I also noticed that its harder to use 2 programs at the same time that both work with my midi controller, it only seems to be able to control 1 program at a time. So dont run say, fruity and buzz at the same time cuz only one program seems to work with the kb at a time.
To get the knobs in fruity to bind with the kb knobs was really easy, I just right click the knob I want to controll, then move the knob on my KB that I want to control it with.
The first thing I would try is messing with the drivers again though. Then I would fire up some program that has a midi indicator(like the little boxes in fruity) and mash a bunch of keys to see if the indicator light blinks. If nothing is blinking then it probably is your drivers or your the configs. |
