I missed this too, though I wanted to go really bad. I fell asleep after getting home from the DePaul basketball game, since I celebrated our victory a bit too much. Hope it was a good show.

last night @ blank & jones was great. there wasn't as many people as the ferry show, but the dancefloor was still packed the whole night. the opening DJ was great, and got the crowd ready for b & j. i put the set by b & j above the set by ferry. they really put a lot of energy into their set. i left @ 2:45...because i had to drive back to madison....music blaring and slapping myself HARD on the face to stay awake :nervous: :stongue:

born2trance....i didn't see your last post until today, but i think i talked to you for a bit.....i was wearing a red & white striped polo w/a red long sleeve underneath.......:conf:

hmm, dont remember that shirt but yeah i had my grey fleece on on top my long sleeved. kinda hot.

BLANK & JONES was w00t!!!!!!! however i absolutley LOVED what erik k was spinning, tons of tracks i was listening to when i was down in FL last week. B&J only spun like 5-7 tracks i liked, but thats still coo cuz this is the 1st time i seen them. yea it wasnt that packed, the 3rd level was damn near bare. erik was throwin out cds, promo i guess, he tried to throw one to me but it veered off and i didnt get it. oh well, hope is site is good. i left round 3:45 or 4 cuz i was dead tired and only had 1 beer there, man vision REALLY needs to in lower the prices of their drinks. ridiculous!!

otherwise i had a blast, i was RITE above the dj booth the latter part of the evening, and i could kinda see what they were queuing up for the next track. they used mainly cds, but some vinyl. that 2nd or 3rd track they spun, WICKED!!!! i ferget what its called but ill find it, it was on vinyl.. i got bout 10 shots on my sis's cam so ill post here once i get them.

thanks Piet & Jaspa for another AWESOME clubbing experience in chicago! wish my bro coulda been there, he damn near worships you!! :) hope to see and meet some of you next time.

btw lucas -can u believe the women there? f-in HOT!!! :D

What a night! It's been a long wait but B & J pulled off a great set. I have heard many live mixes of theirs that were better---but the fact that it was their first time in Chicago made it a worthwhile time. The guys are great---real friendly and i hope they'll be back....but the crowd wasn't that big as mentioned and the GK staff may see that and think they're not worth an invite back (hope not though). The lighting was border on terrible but i guess that is due to the fact the lasers were broken. They need to get a visuals screen and put one up like Spundae did---adds to the ambiance. Overall though a great time---i stayed until close which ended up being around 4:30-4:45 i think.
