wolverine i really liked that pictogram, it explained the evening to me better than any story could have hoped too. any of you see tiesto when he came to cleveland last year?

Thanks:)

No, I've only seen him the one time I described. I've heard some incredible live sets from him before with a lot of diversity, so maybe that was a much better night when he was in Cleveland. On the other hand, I also remember someone bumping an ancient thread in Music Discussion and there were a number of posts about Tiesto drinking too much and puking all over the booth. Seems like going to see Tiesto is like playing roulette, you either have the time of your like or you just feel like you wasted a lot of money, depending on what his blood-alcohol level was that night.

i'd pay more money to see him hurl all over the decks than i would pay to actually see him spin. :toothless

I don't think you could put a price on that kind of entertainment!!

BTW, do we really need to start this up again?

I agree, so I will say in closing I forgot to include a picture of someone smashing records in my original post and that I would be frightened by what the fliers would look like promoting a Godskitchen puke fest.

For anything else that can really be said on the subject, I offer this wonderful thread.

Tiseto...Tiesto...Tiesto...blah blah blah. Get over him. He is the number one DJ in the world on, in my opinion a discredited list. After voting him number 1 last year, I gave up on DJ Mag and it's list. He should have been number 20. He has fallen off. He was great and I will always have fond memories of how he used to be, Innercity, New Year 2000, but I'm sorry, he showed up in Detroit and didn't want to be here. To be fair he can pick a good track-list, and can work a crowd with rest of them, but he hasn't taken the time to mix in years, and was never really good at it to begin with. His purpose now seems to be to bring American kids into Trance. His problem is he is number one and has nothing left to work for so he doesn't feel he has to progress.

this has been debated over and over and over again.. whether you love him or hate him, it's a stagnant argument.

edit- and does someone want to post the link of the tiesto vision review?

LAST TIME @ VISION WITH

*Sorry, I'm still sad & bitter about that night. There are times when he just doesn't want to be behind the decks & this was one of them.
