see the thing about this is the trailers and goodies you associate with watching a good movie.. Why dont we eat candy anymore?> well the reason is popcorn was substituted for watching movies with was because sugar and butter was rationed during World War II so popcorn was used to keep audiences happy. The trend continued but after the war we liked putting butter on so much that we everntually made butter colonies on the moon and harvested the Moon rocks for more butter. Everntually people stopped calling butter butter because it was too long and shortened it to just Butt
