Need some help with p2p related research

Ive got a research methods class this semester and i chose to do my research topic on how Filesharing does NOT cause losses for the music/film industry.
The thing is, teacher said i need to show some specific evidence (i.e: research thats been done) on this, but i cant find anything? I think there were once some on zeropaid, but i cant find anything when i search:(
Does anyone have some relevant info, or perhaps a better topic for me related to filesharing?

umm maybe look up statistics for cd sales over the last few years?
Anyway a good topic would be on the new & existing filesharing anomynity technology like de-centralization, file encryption and other new various ways of hiding from the RIAA MPAA etc.. :D :gsmile: |
