| That's a tender situation. You don't wanna hurt Jenna's feelings. Go to the dance with her, do the secret kiss thing, if possible, and move forward from there. Be a little distant with Jenna afterwards, but still nice. If she confronts you, tell her that you like her as a friend, but aren't interested in her on a romantic level. She can choose how to take that, but it's a polite way to do it. Make sure Sarah likes you though. Just tell her that you wish you and her didn't have other dates, before you started hanging out, and that you would have taken her otherwise. See how she reacts. If she agrees, you're in. If she gets weird, you misread the situation. |

| You have to go with Jenna. You can diss her this close before the dance. If she throws herself at you at the dance just tell her how you feel. In terms of Sarah, since she has a date anyways, get her a small gift for Valentine's just to let her know you were thinking about her during this holiday. And continue hanging out with Sarah until you feel comfortable enough to make it offical. |

This has got to be the best or one of the best responses of the whole lot.
You are young and you are prone to making small mistakes.. but start early and do what is right.. tell Sarah how you feel about her with a small *SMALL!!!!* gift... and talk to her. Tell her that you promised Jenna to go with her as a friend, and make sure that is clear... if Sarah doesn't like you in the same way.. at least you will know.. nothing is worse then running around assuming stuff cause that can be a real time waster.
Get things sorted and done...

Thanks everyone. I'm still stumped about the calibur of present I should get Sarah for Valentine's Day though. I know I have to do something, but what can I get her to show her that I like her but not something that will creep her out and turn her off to me? |
