Dj Antiphus
Antiphus was born on the 4th of july 1978 as Andreas Bakker in the North of Holland. He started his dj-career in 1993. In his early years he mixed hardcore, now known as oldschool.He had his first gigs on local high school parties and at local parties. Antiphus started mixing other styles of house music about 6 years ago. After a summer vacation in Spain he fell in love with club music and after spinning club, speedgarage and trance he finally found the style he had been searching for: Progressive. He won the Northern Mix Championships in 1998 and performed at a lot of parties in the Netherlands. Antiphus has got his heart set at progressive for some time now. Throughout the years he has developed his own style and besides progressive he mixes electro, uplifting trance and a bit of techhouse during his sets. During his residency at Club RockIt! in Leeuwarden he grew to the level he is currently at and learned to interact with the crowd and make his set experience they wil remember. Antiphus has already mixed with some of the best dutch house dj's, such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Johan Gielen, Emjay, Jean, Lucien Foort, Erick E and Michel de Hey!
