Anyone else find its weird when you have heard a track in a liveset with an acapella over the top that really works well, and then on subsequent hearing of the track without the accapella it sounds lacking, and you find yourself mentally placing the acapella over yourself because you are expecting it.
Thats prob not very clear, so i'll give my two main examples
Virgin Souls - Personaity (James Zabielas Oh So Deep Remix) and Led Zepplin - Babe I'm Gonna Leave You acapella
[Gabriel & Dresden Essential Mix]
-I feel these two go together amazingly well, I love the start of this EM
and
Chable & Bonici - Ride (King Unique Remix) and the acapella of Felix da Housecat - Rocket Ride
[King Unique Essential Mix]
Anyone else get this, and if so with which tracks and acapellas? |

Hmmm i can't really remember that many examples.
I have to admit that i really don't mind Armin Van Buuren vs DJ Tiesto - Yet Another Suburban Train (or whatever it's called). The Original Suburban Train is still FAR better, but i don't mind the mashup at all. :p  :p :p
I have always thought that it would sound cool if someone layed the vocals from Marco V - Godd over the little breakdown part with that "rolling" baseline in Prodigy - Breathe. Obviously, i have never heard it though.... :wtf: |

I think I heard the vocals to Solarcoaster over Dirty Sticky Floors on a GDJB w/ Markus Schulz once. Thought it was nifty.
Oh and Bt vs. Sasha -- Remember Magnetic North is pretty cool too. |
