Then you might be missing out on a really decent piece of music for all you know. You must also be a bit slow.

How pathetic is that? If the remix sounds good, which in this case it doesn't sound half bad, then why should it have to be hated. I am a fan of Nirvana, and i'm not going to be told what I should and shouldn't like musically from some gimp on a messageboard.

turning that around mate, you don't like Ferry (Or mikey doesn't anyway) to the point where he says he's , which is fine, but I am a fan of ferry, and im not going to be told what i should & shouldn't like musically from some gimp on a messageboard.

Touché ;)

02. Warp Brothers - Smells Like Teen Spirit (Voc 2 the Floor Mix) 06:27

Being somewhat of a Nirvana fan, it was interesting to hear these mixes. The house mix starts off boring but picks up when the guitars and vocals kick in. I really don't like that cheesy Benassi-like sound after the guitars. The vocal mix is actually pretty good too. I'd like to see other opinions on these tracks.

I don't really like this or any other remixes of SLTS. Stickin' with the original rock version.

But the difference here is that just because I say Ferry is doesn't mean I am in anyway shape or form telling you what you should or shouldn't like yourself. Touché? Not really mate.

Me neither. Why can't people just keep their hands of classic rock tracks and make something interesting on their own instead of destroying an excellent old track??:whip:

exactly

Dazdaking, go swallow a valium. seriously. if you think this produced by Warp Brothers is worthy of listening, then i feel sorry for you. same goes for any remix i've heard. all sounded absolutely crap. there's just no need to remix this tune.

thats my opinion, you can call me a moron any time, couldnt care less.

Guy Ornadel played a mix of this recently when I was out, dunno if its the Warp Bros one you are talking about but it was pretty imo.

If you like that sort of grunge music then its good for you, there where plenty of long haired guys shaking their heads around to it lol.

But if like me you are there for the trance these remixes of grunge music should be melted down and repressed into quality tracks.

disagree vehemently. if you're going to say that a masterpiece should be left alone, then the insane remix of Stairway to Heaven in Oakey's Goa set would never have happened. also, the quivver mix of babe im gonna leave you is great. i love zeppelin, and i love that there are remixes of their stuff, i wish there were more.

I'm not a Nirvana fan at all, and even I can say that pretty much all of the remixes suck. The Adam Freeland mix was nicely produced, but boring. Not energetic at all (well, for more than 5 seconds anyway), unlike the original.

Listen to Tinman- 18 Strings. Nobody else needed to touch Smells Like Teen Spirit because that track nailed it first time.
