now I know how most of you think about remakes and "updated remixes" which usually I couldn't agree more, ... however I think that this one isn't bad..

Fire & Ice - Para Siempre 2005 [Made In England] (MIE05)

A1. Para Siempre (Woody van Eyden Remix)
B1. Para Siempre (Jussi Pollet Remix)
B2. Para Siempre (Original Mix)

I think the Jussi Pollet Remix is real good, I was already knocked over by his remix of "Naked Angel" which really was, ... something else!
This remix isn't really something else, not in the way the Naked angel remix was, but it is real good :)

The Woody van Eyden Remix is quite mediocre, it's a good attempt but it's not a remix that would provide me of major goosebumps. It ain't bad either, some good synths and actually a more uplifted version of the original.

I can be short about the original, I still like it! The drama and sadness of the melody is way cool :) Usually the trance sounds very happy and uplifting, but in this guitar riff their is a different kinda emotional vibe which I really like...

I agree, the original is hard to beat but don't agree with your opinion of the Woody Van Eyden Mix ;) i think it's quite good, there's also a "Dynamic Senses Remix" which has a classy guitar-sounding breakdown just after the 3.00 min mark

the van eyden remix isn't bad but i won't beat the original mix... anyhow: this is a great chance for those who don't have track yet to get it ;)

djslipmat / you can't always agree with others ey ;)

DJNGE / Yep, you're right about that although then they don't have Samao, which is quite good too :toothless
ps. is that Dynamic Senses mix coming out as a legal download or anything?

It's just "Dynamic Sense" ;)
Hope that one will see a release, good remix
Ian^
having heard some samples, the Dynamic Sense is easily the strongest remix of t he bunch. Definitely one I'd pick up

I do have the vinyl now

Woody van Eyden Remix is very nice, i like it (tho it doesn't beat the original), the jussi pollet remix is very cheesy imo.

What i thought very strange is that the original mix on this vinyl is without the intro para siempre has on the "Samoa" vinyl...
