starting to get sick of all the people claiming they "know something" about a show ahead of time in this forum, but of course they "can't say anything". it just comes off like trying to look cool, i mean if you can't say anything why mention it at all?
i'm proud to say - I DON'T KNOW - i'll plan my wmc at the last minute when the lineups are known to us peons.

| I looked for a thread about this event simply to see who all might be attending. Yes I knew about this party before reading this thread. No I didn't jump onto TA the moment that I found out about the party so that I could post a thread about it. Why? Because no matter what I say or do I get flamed. If I would have posted this thread I would have received the lame "DJ hoe" bull mentality. At least I don't run around pretending to know when I actually don't. |

amber, i don't think i "flamed you," but if you re-read your post, it comes across as being "elitist" or whatever. like what ex-dj said, why even mention that you know to people who don't? that just makes you look arrogant. and i wasn't talking directly to you, i've seen it numerous times since wmc stuff has come out...and it's so annoying. if you know about a party and would like to share, then post! if you are just trying to make us all confused and feel this small then keep it to yourself.
if i knew about a great party, there isn't a doubt in my mind that i would want my fellow ta's to know. but that's just me. :D

I wasn't talking about you when I was referring to the flaming that I have received. Did it ever occur to you that maybe I was being rude for a reason and it was intentionally directed at certain people...one not being you? I have posted in only two threads in this entire WMC subforum...this one and the Armada night thread. How the hell am I trying to make someone feel confused when my other post stated that my understanding was that this was being held at State? Hell yes I wrote a rude post following. I had my reasons, and I'm not going to apologize for that post anymore than anyone else will apologize for theirs. Funny how the people that know my business haven't posted in this thread complaining about what I wrote. Imagine that.
There are no hard feelings because this thread is hardly something to lose any sleep over it. |
