I got an email today from paypal (so i thought) stating :

Feedback Assistance

Your account access will remain limited until this issue has been resolved.

Our system requires further account verification.

We encourage you to log in and perform the steps necessary to restore your account access as soon as possible. Allowing your account access to remain limited for an extended period of time may result in further limitations on the use of your account and possible account closure.

First off it's only Feb 10th so right away i was kinda concerned LOL

so i went to view source on the link that they provided and this is the link that they have http://starcraft.hu/.sk12/index.htm

So i figure they send you this email telling you to log in by clicking the link and it transfers you to a page that looks like paypal and you put your user name and password and BANG they have it.

So i just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that didn't know this.

I've contacted paypal and hopefully they can do something about this before someone gets scammed.

There isn't really anything PayPal can do about it. Those e-mails aren't an abuse of the PayPal service, they're just outright fraud committed in the name of PayPal. What they're doing is already illegal, and normally the police would be the ones to do something about it, but usually these servers are in Korea or Nigeria or some other country which hasn't made it illegal yet, so the police here have no jurisdiction.

They're scams, just like all the other scams that come through your e-mail - all you can really do is ignore them.
