Anger and Trance

Anger isn't really the emotion that springs to mind when I think of trance. But I just heard Slipknot - Duality (Greed Remix), and i actually found it quite interesting. It's not the most amazing tune around, but i think it had some very interesting ideas which i havent heard in trance before. The yelling/screaming that is so commonplace in rock/metal is something that i have never heard in Trance. I've never even thought about listening to trance when im in an angry mood... It's always been for happy or sad, party or chill(chill mixes of course). But I'm wondering does anyone know of any other tracks that have such a feeling behind them?
There is so much discussion these days that trance has become stale and stagnated, perhaps this is an avenue which should be explored more thoroughly? I'm not sure, perhaps It already has been, and i just missed out...

sounds like tech-trance.:D well, i wouldn't say angry, but there is defintely some whopping wickedness in some tech trance. the only one that comes to mind is sam sharp's twister withs whopping drums. when i first heard it, it sucker punched me.:mad: :D |

Yeah, decent hard trance and tech-trance are definitely good in anger. Esp. S.H.O.K.K. stuff. |

SFX - Makes it different
Gets me ticked off when I am in a crowded bus or street.
Although stuff from 'The Green Martian' also gets me going.
I think Dutch Gabber-music is the true that makes me wanna hurt somebody, with the fact it's just horrible uninspired music.... |

Influence Records kind of borrowed a lot of Industrial themes for their hard trance tracks way back in 93/94. Want a great example...?
