Im having some weird sound probs and I think this is the right place to ask
My sound isnt always clear as it sould be
sometimes its all good and clear , sometimes its less clear with some noises and sometimes its really hard not to notice it (lots of noises)
First I thought its because of my speakers but it not (I just bought a new speaker system)
Ive checked the possibility that it may be the soundcard but as before its not (same problem/noises with the onboard soundcard or the creative live 5.1)
Moreover , its not happenning becuase the speakers are getting heated or something
Ive also asked it on other forum and someone told me it might be related to magnetic interruptions , but my speakers are sheilded from this kind of interruptions (magnetic sheilded - from standing near monitors etc...)
I still dunno whats the problem and I wish I knew
Any kind of idea/suggestion is appreciated |

| well you are not really giving any helpfull information, it could be anything. make sure your sequensers master (and channels are not clipping) |

This kind of problem happens to me generally, not in a specific software or something

could be alot of things. you dont give enough specific information about this issue though. what kind of noise is it?
if its a low level buzzing noise its most likely electrical interferance. if you place your hardware near to certain electrical sources - power supplies and so forth you will get this. most electrical products are shielded against electrical interference but sometimes it just happens (perhaps the shielding is faulty. i dont know.) case in point: alot of people with motu 828 mkII had problems with buzzing internal power supplies because it wasnt shielded properly.
if its low level and staticy it could be electromagnetic interference. usually caused by coiling up all your cables. do not coil them up because it generates a field. that said you need pretty long cables, coiled pretty tightly to get any problems like this.
if its a constant hiss its probably because you are boosting the input signal too high thus raising the noisefloor. i had this with my access virus b. i had the boost analogue input parameter set on 127 (full) when it should be 0. the result was a large amount of hiss and an intermittent high pitched swell (caused by the LFO).
it could also be that you are using external mic level sound sources (microphones, guitars) without a preamp and thus have to boost the input signal through your host's mixer (again, increasingly the noisefloor). |

My Speaker system - Creative Inspire T5900 , before that I had the Inspire 4400 (they are both protected against these kind of interferences)

It could be it , some of the cables are coiled

could u be more specific here, what exacly should i decrease? and how could i know if the input signal is too high?
Generally
My noise is a high level noise, its like the treble is increased,
i get "hisses", but as i mentioned before it could be all great and clear for a few days/hours or it could be with some little noises or with some big irratating noises |

now i get the electric buzz u mentioned, but only in my 2 front speakers, i uncoiled the cables and moved every electrical source to another location.
i really dunno what to do
i get this buzz only in my 2 front speakers, so this probably means that the soundcard isnt the problem, so what is it then?
im really frustrated from these noises, if u think u can help please do so :( |

i found out whats the problem
the line out of my soundcard is ed up, thats why only my 2 front speakers had the buzz noises
