Extending what Anthony said, most clubs have to heavily rely on bar sales. You have to think, for a $7 drink, all but 50 cents to $1 of it is profit. When it comes to door sales, those costs are sometimes entirely given to the promoter (those sales are what pays the DJs, the promotion team, pays for flyer production, etc etc), other times it's split with the club. It just depends on the setup.
Sales of water and redbull to not attibrute to great profits, because they do not sell close to the numbers of what alcoholic drinks sell.

Assuming this is true, I'm not only disappointed but annoyed. Why is it so hard to have a lasting all trance venue?
Sure if you have top 40s or house you have a bigger demograhpic but still, don't we make that up in "hardcoreness"? It isn't as though there is a lot of competition for trance parties on Friday nights. I really don't understand how a venue with good acts right in the center of SoCa can't do well? Right when I thought trance had a little scene again...
:( dag nabbit!!! :( |

| To solve this issue, we should all just move to Holland/Netherlands so there is no more problem. |

| If it is a contract issue, I'm not surprised. The owner of Arena is a f'n , period. RED ended up leaving there because Arena's owner was seriously screwing them on their contract. Too bad, because I happen to like Arena. |

| if they move, im sure theyll do even better. arena is well known for a non straight club. there have been many times i have heard the line "isnt that a gay club." and people will ask you more then once. and with a name heaven. it doesnt make it better. hopefully they can grab a venue that has a better reputation, along with allowing an 18+ crowed. then i think there success will be even better then it is now. |

As someone who deals with relations in a big way, Heaven keeping quiet right now is not helping them. :)
