Review: Hector Romero @ Boa

Stumbled into Boa around 3am to a very enthusiastic crowd going nuts to Sean's opening set. From what i hear, this was one of his best sets in recent history - and what i caught in the final hour would definately support this claim. I was drunk as hell at this point, and didnt hesitate getting right into the floor whoring. Bumped into sexy jennifer in the early stages, and we got downright NASTY for the remainder of Seans set. Awesome seeing you as always Jen, and it was a pleasure being there drunk as a skunk together.
Im guessing it was around 4am when Hector took over the decks, and holy was he on point. Dropping some seriously dirty house all night, he picked up where Miller left off and kept the vibe going. In my opinion he outdid his counterpart Satoshi Tomiie EASILY. Though the crowd seemed to thin out earlier than usual, those remaining wasted every ounce of energy on the dancefloor - this set was not for standing around. Due to my state of mind for this night i'm not going to be one to ID a bunch of tracks....im sure Coleridge can help us out - he was loving the set as well. I can tell you, he finished his set with "Owner of a Lonely Heart" - (Max Graham Remix??), and in what seems to be Boa trend these days, Hector came out and greeted those left in attendence.
Wicked WICKED night out, a triple decker of a night, full of booze, babes and beats. Cant beat triple B action. Thanks goes out to Steve, who not only provided the lift - but also was my partner in crime on the dancefloor all night. |

| Hrm, well I'm on a self induced break until the end of the month, so I really should stop reading these 'floorwhore' reviews. Damn you and your 'good times'! |

well, i say this almost every week but,....that was probably one of the best nights i've had at boa. walking into the middle of seans set really set the mood for the night, dark, sleazy, sexy beats! this guy seriously impresses everynight....romero seamlessly took over the decks dropping bomb after bomb of kick ya in the ass sic basslines. At one point i was dancing in front of the speaker stack and all i could think about was "...man if i don't move away from here i think something inside me is gonna rupture..." Couldn't have asked for a better set/night!!
sexyjennifer....deadly time ripping it up with ya, and looking
good as always!
Jeff....no need for the thanks man...anytime you need a ride
just gimme a call and we'll own the place every
weekend!!!! |

I totallly agree.
Sean washed the dance floor with some serious tracks and Hector introduced some sweet new tracks. Way way way better than Satoshi. Can't even compare. Awesome night. |

I apologize Floorwhore and 5hift6ears for leaving early. However when I looked over my shoulder and found my brother passed out on the couch there was only one person to take him home and unfortunately it was me. Floorwhore and I were so drunk and had a few good laughs and shaking out sexy asses on the dance floor.
Just as I was leaving the music just started to kick in but there is always next Saturday. I will defintely be there March 5/05? I think it's that day. I will double check.
I hope to see you both there!!
Kisses
