Now now, instead of being completely left or right I say we embrace the fact that electronic music has brought on styles for people of all types to enjoy. There's the easy, beautiful, and melodic stuff and theres the energetic stuff that people dance to. I happen to like both of them.
P.S. I didn't know you could say so many swears on Tranceaddicts, I thought they gave you referrals for that. |

I love hard dance at times.
Its all about the mood you are in, and although dancing to it can hurt your knees its great fun. Sure most the effects used are cheaper than the props in cheap horror movies, but when you listen to this stuff at 6am its golden.
This is still getting plenty of time on my soundwaves:
1. Marc Dawn - Tension
2. Blank & Jones With Robert Smith - A Forest (Ron Van Den Beuken Remix)
3. Saltwater - The Legacy
4. Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion Remix)
5. Scott Mac - Damager02
6. Michael Woods - If U Want Me
7. Nick Lunn & Yomc Present Techno-punk - Energize
8. Michael Parsberg - Evolution
9. Ralph Miller - Appetizer
10. S.H.O.K.K.- My Madness Says What I Must Do Relieve The Pain With Eating You
11. Marzz - Orbiter
12. Analogic Disturbance - Wait A Second (Rave Mix)
13. Peter & Lan - The Way It Should Be
14. Jason Midro - The Sound Of Now

I'm still suprised that many hardcore fans aren't too burnt to be able to type on a computer.... |

Wow congradulations reading correctly , I was supporting your oppinion and you slandered me...
I hate trance with exception for psy and goa and stuff that is from 00 and before, I'd much rather hear hardstyle or even ing gabber for that matter over trance, sure the stuff is easy as piss to beatmatch but even that has more substance and production value than trance.
Now learn to read before you flame.
and i registered in 02 this has long since not been my DJing name |

I try to imagine what sort of people might listen to this crap and the first think that comes in mind is dodgy people with shaved heads, lowered cars, scousers and townies.:nervous: at least in england, as, in greece that type of think was never approved (thank god). There are so many beautifull types of music to listen to why listen to fast loopy with whistles, acid lines, sirens and disturbing noises at 150 |
Only 150bpm? your hardcore is for pussies, you should listen to speedcore :P or industrial power noise.
There are some interesting genres spawned off of hardcore as any other genre, you just haven't sampled it much. Hardcore still has a solid fan basin but it will never be relived like it was in the 90's. Hardcore gave rise to genres that are more into actual scientific breakdown of sounds they hit gray areas with IDM but are much harder. Like any genre there is good quality if you dig, I have a set by DJ Gizmo and the dark raver live at thunderdome a few years ago that i love listening to, it is a diverse fun set but the bpm is a good 145+ the whole way
AND NO WAY DID YOU BAG ON ACID LINES
omfg go off and die, wtf, omg, i need to take a breather. ACID LINES!! ING ACID HOUSE IS GOD!!!!!! IT OWNS YOU AND YOUR PATHETIC EXISTANCE. Acid founded the whole scene!! 303 power!!!! Any genre with good acid sound deserves praise for that alone. |

| I dunno. I find Happy Hardcore and the commercial Hard Dance very very very very annoying, even more annoying than Epic Trance... no, no, not that annoying, but still. I can't say anything about old-skool Hardcore though (whatever that is), sooo... g'bai. :p |
