yes, you have to complete all the races to unlock further difficulty. same as GT3.

im not sure you *have* to get golds, but you do have to get third at least.

After I found out that I had one bronze that was skipping my eye, I think that might be wrong. I won some championship series without competing in all races, and still accessed the GT pro championship(which I proptly quit, I dont have a car that good yet)

Hmm, I think it's going to take me some time to be able to get round corners without flying off the track. :D

i bought this yesterday, and im addicted :eyespop:

Anyone else think that the licenses (excluding special) were a lot easier than the last couple of GT's? I managed to get a bronze first time for more than half of them and the most attempts i had at a single one was about 6, which is tiny compared to GT3 where a few of them took me like 25 tries :whip:

hmmm, dunno how im gonna start progressing through the game...i was thinking of maybe saving up & buying a new skyline and then using that with mods to get me lotsa money, whats everyone else doing?

Aint done any races yet, just gonna try and get the licences out of the way first, so far ive completed the National B and the National A licences. Dunno whether to goto sleep now or to do all of International B. :p

I wouldn't really say so. It's probably because you're familiar with GT games such as myself, and you already get a feel of how to handle cars when you're doing the license testings. It's just a matter of experience :)

I LOVE GT4!!!!!!!!!

i bought this game last week and its awesome...

but...

does anyone else think its a lot easier than gt3?? i havent got the special licence yet but the rest were much easier than last time and if u complete the second rally u get a 750hp cadillac cien which dicks all over everythin in the beginner and pro categories (specially when u tune it into a 960hp monster)

dont get me wrong tho its a really fun game and it looks superb
