This is true... ;) But in IE if you hover on the image for a few secs, and an icon should appear in the top lefthand corner, if you click it you can save the image too!

Theres a way around it in either case! :D

God damn ad site slowing it down!

Waiting for focusin.ads.targetnet.com

Easy enough solution is to essentially blackhole the site from your local PC by creating a static name to IP mapping in your hosts file.

Windows users: Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in your favorite text editor. (might be a different path, just search your windows dir for a file called hosts.

*NIX users: Open /etc/hosts in your favorite text editor. (vi!)

Add the line:

127.0.0.1 focusin.ads.targetnet.com

Thanks you POS... How am I supposed to pay for the hosting now that you've had everybody block the banner? Are you going to send me a check every month?

Scroll to the bottom of http://www.tohost.ca/gallery and read what it says:

PLEASE REGISTER! Registered users receive their own personal public folder to upload images, the ability to download images, the ability to leave comments and the ability to send post-cards.

hey RJ .. is there a way to create private photo albums? say i have albums of family trips and stuff that i want to share with my relatives but don't want to be accessible to the general public? is there some kind of password protection that i could set up ?

Oh sorry dude, normally banners are not an issue at all. However you should make your ad provider aware that their servers are slow and/or their bandwidth is congested resulting in slow loading times for pages that link images off their servers.

My browser usually stalls from anywhere between 10 seconds to a minute(!) wilth the following message in the status bar:

Waiting for focusin.ads.targetnet.com

A one off thing i'm not going to complain about, but this seems to be a pretty consistent issue over the last month or so. :(

And to everyone else, make sure to click lots on the ads to support the site! Many TOTA event pics are hosted there! :)
