Some of you might already heard the news (if not you're in for a shock), as of 6pm EST (Monday, February 14, 2005) Party 93.1 in Miami changed their format from Dance Music to Rock.

As a result of the sudden change, for obvious reasons the Lostworld Mix show will no longer be syndicated. Since Party 93.1 was home to my mix show, due to this unfortunate occurrence, we have decided to move the "LOST WORLD" mix show to SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO. As of the time of this press release, it looks like the show will be hosted on a weekly basis. Stay tuned to this website for further details...

the webmaster also put that she might broadcast his shows on his site...
I used to listen to his show every sunday night the past 2 years on the radio, one of the reasons im pissed party went off air...

as for Oakie... dont know yet

Wow, The Lost World moving to Sirius Radio, I hope someone who has it can stream the show online.

This is becoming a trend of sorts. Scrapping EDM radio shows for other crap. :(

Hopefully they're able to find a great new home. They deserve no less.

Ew...sirius radio.

XM owns Sirius in every way, shape, and form.

However, I did enjoy Acosta's show, but some weeks, the show was just jam packed up epic club anthems, that werent really epic, and they weren't really anthems, they were just...crap.

If GDJB does get a new home, we really need to change the time slot. Staying up till o'dark 30 was a really bad timeslot for the show.

Plus the majourity of listeners probably listened online, thus generating no revenue for Party 93.1, and if it does find a new home, I won't have to hear that ing "Tattoo Shop" commercial with that ing wank piece of on it.

Anyways

Rave on bitches

Depends on your tastes.

XM has 3 different EDM channels:

"The Move" - Deep House mostly. That jazzy, loungey, progressive stuff you would hear in coffee shops. However, they do play progressive house and breaks on there, you just have to tune into the live sets, Andre Solaris for example. They aslo have 2 hours of Drum N Bass everyday around 11am CT.

"BPM" - Mainstream club, poptrance, euro-dance, "cheese". This is where you hear all the mainstream vocal trance that not many people on here care for, but they do play alot of classics on here, like dance music from the early 90's, Robin S for example.

"The System" - This is where they play stuff like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Vadim Zhukov, Max Graham...the more "underground" stuff I guess, even though most of the artists I named are anything but, but this is where you wont find alot of cheesey dance music.

Basically, I flip between those 3, and I can always find something good on any of those channels.

I previewed Sirius' dance selection, and I just wasnt feeling it. I do like some of the more commercial stuff though.

Pick what you like...I just don't like Sirius' selection.

Not only that, but XM has a bunch of other great channels as well, like U-POP (World pop music), Ethel, Squizz, Liquid Metal...

:D

Fat Cat
I had XM radio and it was .cancelled my subscription this January.

the dance stations on XM sucked big long fat black dick.

the problem with both satellite radio providers is that there programming is poor and limited. Even though they both have dedicated channels for dance they play crappy .

best online stations:

radio one

di fm

proton
