I went to see him at the Pier in NYC for an hour long show before the MTV Awards in 2001 and I have been hooked ever since. I have never seen a DJ interact with a crowd and read a crowd like Norman does.
My slipmats are Fatboy slipmats that were a record company promo and very limtied. I paid $50 for them.
My dog is named Norman (woman wouldnt allow Fatboy).
I have a signed pic of Fatboy of him spinning that just summarizes him as a DJ for me.
When he played the closing of Centro Fly in NYC (titled the Funeral of Centro Fly), Fatboy came out to Live and Let Die and was carried across the dancefloor and up to the booth in a coffin.
Anyone ever see the MTV cribs that featured Fatboy?
His gold records are in his laundry room so that when he is ironing he can look at them and remember that he made something of himself.
His wedding pics are in his bathroom so when he is taking a dump he can remember the happiest day of his life.
He has over 80,000 records in his home studio. |
