| Hey Chicago TAs :) I'm coming to Chicago from the 18th to the 24th. Any good trance events going on during that time? I can't believe I'll be missing G&D :( |

I would say probably not, unless someone is doing a non-standard for them set.
Most of the DJs booked for the near future are House or Techno.

everyone ive seen in chi has spun trance or some kind of. most will throw in some pr0g trax, but ive never gone to a show where house is spun (i hate house) so i stay away from those.
you'll find all kinds of edm in chi, just find a dj u like/heard of and im sure you wont be dissapointed :toocool: |

there's not a lot of trance in Chicago, unless Armin or Ferry or one of the other "bigger" trance DJs is booked. i can't think of many local DJs that spin ONLY trance. Chicago is famous for house music, so obviously there's going to be lots of it.
either way, most DJs these days play a variety of many different genres.
btw, b2t - you do know that Cattaneo and Digweed don't spin trance, right? :p |

Awwww, if only Luke Chable had been playing this weekend! You do get a lot of trance, considering. But then again, I'm in a trance-starved city. |

oh i will have fun...
hern & weed have been spinning mostly pr0g/trance lately, so as what ive heard and what i have here. ive nvr heard house (and im thinking of fathom dj's house) in theyre mixes. ill be sure to get some vids/audio of what they spin when im up there.
