Well I believe its a valid point that he states. Considering the fact that humans will inevitably travel outward into space, making change/evolution also inevitable. |

First, there is no such thing as a valid point, a point is an opinion of someone that cannot be proven fact or false. One can only say, its a good or bad point, based upon the facts that can be presented along with the opinion that has been stated.
So to continue, yes, he makes a point about how humans shall have to make a change/evolution in order to adapt towards the varying changes we continually will endure (different planets and space climates <-a possibility) but one must remember that it is not the fact that our climates or enviroment is changing us as humans. It is our technology, our consumption of food and our pollution that makes us so very different from all other species amd is what effects us the most as humans. This is what makes us very unpredictable as we continue to find new ways to change the world we live in and how we adapt to these changes. So while I believe there shall be some sort of minor change in our evolution chain, the extent of believing we will be half cyborg men is a bit too far fetched for even my own creative tastes.
I wouldn't say it was an impossibility, just as I would never put the idea of God as an impossibility, I just wouldn't put it past much more than faith, fantasy, or science fiction. |
