Simple, got one turntable, no preamp and putting it directly in to my amp makes it sound 1 to weak 2
Is there a softwarematic was of doing this (incl. that RIAA correction.. can't be that hard to make can it)
Hope anyone can help me out :) |

No dont do it, it will sound like 1. crap 2. e. The sound card in your pc was not designed to be a preamp. The input will AD convert the signal then DA the signal again. The conversions will lose a lot of quality.
Also the amp in your PC does not have the gain required to propelly feed the amplifier. |

ok what happened.. i plugged it in to my onboard soundcards mic, which i dont normally use (the soundcard)
if i record in like cool edit pro it will normalize the volume and it will actually sound normall (no white noise, lack of bass)
but i cna't get that to play 'on the fly' :(
The plan now is to buy a mixer soon (before i even have enough money to buy a whole set of decks) though a temporary solution via pc would be nice :o |
