I'v listened through this a couple of times now, and looks like your mix has got stuck on my playlist.
I've recently heard a few other dj's using the same starting track. Still, I'm not fed up with it yet. So that's a good start.
The mixing into the second tune is unique. I kind of liked that. Technically ok, and the second tune fits fine with the starter.
The mixing goes on steadily, piece by piece moving onto "less progressive (as I understand various forms of - ) trance. I consider that a plus, too.
Then there's this One Man Army aka Airbase tune (with the sound effect that makes me think about magic sparkles ;) ). It's superb! I gotta get that record, too.
The mixing into the next tune sounds somewhat dull. Not too bad, though.
I've got nothing more special about technical aspect of mixing in the rest of the set. The last tune could possibly be more like a "final blowout track", as somebody commented one of my mixes.
I'd give this mix 4,5 stars out of 5. It's clearly made with feeling.

I know that "Killa" isn't the most unusual intro track, but I couldnt help it.. just love that track!
I really like the One Man Army-track too.. too bad that Jezper is taking a break(?) now when his sound has evolved in a positive way like this..
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment it, and thx for the kind words! :) |
