Because he make the music for a long time ago, and he is one of the creators of the Love Parade @ Berlin with Dr.Motte.

At the beginning of the years 1990 he is also the most innovative producer and cofounder of Berlin's Indie Dance label & Low Spirit.

But he's has become too arrogant & too narcisstic, too much money and drug in my opinion:nervous:

But the godfather of techno;)

i seriously doubt it. He only makes about 2grand a gig, or less. He wouldnt make making a huge amount from his radio show either.

tiesto makes no where near a 100,000 a gig ffs. Certainly not when he plays the average club.

the fudge isnt worth millions either.

I read that in a national newspaper, so not sure how credible the source is

But regarding the judge, I think he probably is tbh, very few djs play as many gigs as him in a year, most of which he headlines, he has a radio show etc. and taking into account how long he has been at the top!

Doubt it. Saw a programme where he was looking at buying a new car to replace his Porsche 911 and it showed his house which was a fairly normal place on an average estate. Probably no more than £300k....

Although I reckon most DJs are frequent flyer miles millionaires  .....have a look at Sasha's schedule on his website. I had a look a few months back and reckoned over 12 weeks he was doing about 80,000miles

i wish people would stop posting these figures that djs r earning like they know everything when really no ones got a clue.
As for that idiot that thought tiesto get 100,000 a gig get a clue as if ur average club can afford that

If you read my original post you mupped you will notice that it has absolutely nothing to do with Sasha/ Excession. I was talking about the amount of money I personaly paid sasha. As I said earlier this has absolutely nothing to do with you:clown:

most big djs/producers make a comfortable living, but definitely aren't rolling in cash. unless they're tiesto.

Ok, I thought he'd be worth about a million, since he was thinking of buying a 360, and those cars are like how much, $250k?

what make is that?

Last I heard, Tiesto was around $25,000 for a weekend gig in the US....and in the US, PvD actually gets more than tiesto at around $30,000 for a weekend gig. Weekday gigs costs quite a bit less. This was about a year ago.

Different promoters can work different deals, so those are just base costs.

Mauro Picotto I have heard is insanely expensive for his status, $20,000 - $25,000 a gig in the US.

I know Marco V used to make $3,000 a gig in the US a few years ago. Have a feeling that's shot up quite a huge amount.

And yeah, Oakey was $50,000 - $55,000 for two hours a few years ago.

NuNRG is $2,000 for a US gig. :-p

It really sepends on the distance to travel, date (i.e NYE would be more expensive) Also if it isnt a weekend is cheaper. (i.e. cream ibiza on thursdays) and most importantly how many people are expected to turn up and how many djs are playing (i.e. if they are the stars of the show or not)
