Love to hear some reviews from TA folk.

I know some of you made it out!

I personaly thought they were off the ing hook! the first 2/3 of their set was all original material and unreleased remixes/edits that they;'re done... also throwing on accapella's over top as well as other loops... some tunes were literally being remixed on the fly... absolutely incredible. Hopefully we can get them back again soon!

If it is a review you want.. a review you shall get!

Entered the club early (1030ish), to avoid the inevitable long lineup! Got inside to find a bunch of cougars.. and started to question the integrity of the crowd that was to come, but in the end the breakers showed up in full force!

DJ Kick opened up.. and did a decent job, I was wondering what happened to John E tho?

Robb G brought the insane tech-breaks and energy that I have become accustomed to. I think he is amongst my top 3 fav local DJ's spanning all genres! Open/close for Stanton Warriors had me groovin.

The Stanton Warriors themselves were not bad. Although their set didn't really stand out as awesome, it was good nonetheless. My gripes about their set were the lack of vocal tracks, lack of the high-end remixes that they are known for, and the lack of serious booty-shaking toons. They were solid throughout their set, with good flow.. but they just couldn't match Robb G in the booty shakin and energy department.

fyi the first 2/3 of their set was all unreleased origianal material/remixes and edits.. all the while looping accapella's and other over top.. even literally remixing tracks on the fly.

i think the energy from them could have been better but considering it was their 5th date on 5 days it's understandable. We'll just have to get them at the begining of a tour next time ;)

It was a really good show despite a poor choice in venue and a couple very minor technical setbacks. Very loud, very bumping, had me jumping the minute I got in the door. Some creepy woman was touching people inappropriately but it was all good. The crowd was mixed, but I was feeding off the postive vibe of my friends and had a wicked time. I really think Robb G stole the show and the warriors thunder with his set, he blew me away. And you could tell he was loving every second of it too.

the only real low point was that both the bar and the coatcheck sucked balls.

It was a fun fun night, I hope they bring the warriors back real soon.

:)
