Hello people.

I want to remix a song from the mid 90's. I dont know where to begin. I dont know who to contact, what steps to take in order to get permsiion or use vocal samples fromthe song. I am so lost

I dont want this to be some "at home" project on my comp. I want to hire a sound engineer that knows how to use these complex programs and help me make the tune i have in my head as precise as possible. I dont want it to sound cheap

Anyone have any advice??

Any professional producers from Toronto that can help would be greatly appraciated.

I can't help you on the legal issues, since i don't know any of that.

However i found 1 thing that you mite wanne know

A sound engineer won't do much for you, to make your tune a top tune.

I dont want my producer to compose the song. its already in my head. I just want him to technically input it for the final output that i want. Everything creative is in my head. I just need some technical help thats it.

And i think this is how Tiesto does make his songs. He tells his engineer what he wants... and they fiddle around with it.. and when Tiesto thinks it sounds like what he envisions it.. then its finalized.
