someone on the glowboard found this:

TIESTO AT DISNEY, APRIL 16!

9.jpgOn April 9th Disneyland Resort Paris launches Space Mountain Mission 2. This new mission sends exploronauts to the farthest reaches of space, to go where no one has ever gone before and to discover the mysteries at the edge of the universe…

On April 16th the Best DJ of the World, Tiësto, will also go where no other DJ has ever gone before… the heart of Disneyland Resort Paris! In this magical environment, Tiësto will make a unique combination between the Magic of Disney and his own Magik music during a 3 hour special Space Mountain Mission 2 show!

As a pre-show, DJ Bob Sinclar will warm up the fans from all over Europe with his magical performance on the Magik Stage just in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

why is he stooping to this?
DOOMBOT
Stooping to what? He is spinning music that he enjoys playing to thousands of people who enjoy listening to it. Again, stooping to what?
glittergirl
i dunno. maybe "stooping" wasnt the right word.
madhattared
seriously this is just another step towards selling out.

the olympics was far cooler and a step in the opposite direction.
DOOMBOT
Don't worry. It is quite clear as to where this thread was intended to go.

i want to hear vtec weigh in on this...
DirtyDave
I ususally defend Tiesto, b/c he was the man and one of the DJ's that got me into EDM back in 1999/2000..

This is ridiculous. I can see the next headliner:

"TIESTO: Live @ Adam Goldstein's Bar-Mitzvah"

DOOMBOT
Well, it is quite clear that for whatever reason, it pains people to see the man succeed in what he does. And that is give more people the oppurtunity to hear trance. Whether his version or style doesn't appeal to you is null. Doesn't matter cuz he enjoys it and so do millions of other people who continue to purchase tickets to his shows. I just think a lot of you who are against him or hate to see him "Stoop" to levels have personal anger issues that have to be delt with because releasing them on Tiesto isn't fair.

Please, prove me wrong. :)

+1 Did you people forget that it's in Paris where EDM plays a bigger part in life than here in the USA??? Who the hell cares where he plays or who he plays for. I can't beleive you people bug out over stupid like this.....the man is successful at what he does.....that's all that matters.;)

vtec junkie
Oh yeah....just another piece of my mind....everybody that sits here and bashes DJ's for becoming more and more mainstream.....your all a bunch of selfish individuals. Music is music and it's for everybody.....if you wanna bash somebody start bashing Brittany or 50 cent for christ sake.
