Burning CDs with CUE sheets?

Can anyone give me a quick rundown on how to burn MP3 files that have CUE sheets to CD? I have the CUE file for PvD @ Knebworth, but it doesn't have a header, and it's obvioulsy longer than one disc. Is any software smart enough to recognize this and automatically prompt for another one? |

I always use cdrwin to burn with cue files. but i don't know if it is smart enought to recognize that. maybe you should cut the mp3 file first with mp3cutter or hj split and then burn it. |

I've tried to use hj split and mp3cutter a couple of times, but it doesn't work (at least not for me): file acces denied:( . Happened to me for example with the liveset from DJ Cross live @ trance Energy. It really sucked because no frame header found AND access denied. Over that it's too long too burn at once:( .
really pisses me off, allthough the set isn't that good. Same happened with DJ Tiesto's magik 1.
I once had an other cutprogram which I found at livesets.com. Cutted everything in peaces, access or no access, header or no header, but unfortunately I can't find it anymore (sigh).
Well, wish ya good luck, and oh yeah, where can I find those CUE sheets??

you can use nero to cut up your livesets if you want :)
kolkiewolkie: you can usually find cue sheets at tracklistinf sites, one of many good tracklisting sites is www.dance-paradise.org

yep :) i have version 5 now, and i had version 4 before that. you could use either to cut up sets. i dont know about previous version because i've never used them. it might be a bit slower than mp3 cutting progs, but it works fine. |
