Outlook 2K/XP/2K3 has it built in ala 'Notes' unless there's something else special about this version? :conf:

Jesus, judging by the reactions here you'd think that someone had just discovered sliced bread or indoor plumbing here.

Go to download.com and type in "notes" and you'll get more than 500 results, many from several years ago. Why would anyone pay for this software when there is so much quality free software out there? Miranda has built-in notes, Office 2K3 has OneNote (not free but tons of people have Office), back in the day I used to use something called ATNotes and years before that I had something else which I can't even remember the name of.

And for those drooling over Apple's Dashboard... That kind of has been around for at least 5 years in the various X-Window Managers and also LiteStep (Windows). I believe that Object Desktop for Windows also has many similar features.

This is probably one of the best programs around for me. I always have ideas that I'll "think about later" and then forget about them. This way, I'm easily able to take note of anything.

Thank you Margs!

yep.. welcome to last year, ppl.

and I'd suggest using ATNotes instead of 3M Notes... why? cuz it's free, it's easy to use and it doesn't come with all these features and settings that 3M comes with. Hell, it took me more to figure out how to use it than it was to post a single note...

whats that feature called that allowed you to view all your open programs by moving the mouse to a certain corner of the screen?

I know its standard on Macs but someone came up with that on Windows too...anyone by any chance know that that program is called?
