| Im going in the end of march, and i was wondering what to expect, anyone been? i would imagine it to be pretty cool and whil u may have read about beach parties being banned, thats bull, i told my freinds about it and they had no idea that law even existed, but seriously, any thoughts? |

| Let us know how it is. I visited the full moon party in Thailand and it was superb... but I have always wondered whether Goa was the real beach party paradise. I would love to go see for myself. |

ive been to both (used to live in both countries) and i think goa is way better. koh phangan is great for the full moon, but its nothing compared to goa a few years ago.. havent been in about 4 though. i also love goa trance and am not too fond of the hip hop in thailand. goa takes the cake

| apparently the full moon scene in thailand has gone commercialised and most parties are ran by the local mafia. dunno about goa tho... |

I was in Goa last year in Novemeber and it was great. There weren't any beach parties but certain places like Hilltop, Paradiso were on. As for the beach parties being banned, someone was telling me that you can't have beach parties cos its illegal. The authorities dont mind having it within a club or somethin but not out in the open. Most of the outdoor venues over the years were illegal..so now they're stopping em.
But i guess there are still on.... |
