I would have considering going to S&P and GTR if it weren't a Skills event and at a proper club where the sound was setup to listen to trance proper...would have tried going to both... ;P

Yep, with absolutely no respect whatsoever.
They are tolerable at raves since there's lots of space to find a good spot, but more difficult in rooms at clubs.

man Smith & Pledger were AWESOME, they played tonsa great tracks that i'd never heard before, i wasn't expecting that at all from them. GTR was pretty good too but i thought he was gonna be better than S&P but S&P proved me wrong. I wasn't feelin any of the other DJs, and we left after S&P were done. wth is up with Dyloot always putting himself last. Timeslots were
12:00 - 1:30 GTR
1:30 - 3:00 Smith & Pledger
3:00 - 4:00 Dyloot
venue was pretty nice, it had carpet, the usual skills sound setup (that's proly not a particularly good thing according to dave hehe) and it wasn't too crowded, just one nice comfy room.
usually when i go to skills massives it's pretty crowded cuz i always go up front and there's plenty of pushy shovyness, but at this small party there wasn't much of that. there did seem to be a lotta young looking ppl there, DTMMfam commented that there were a lotta 8th graders in there LOL. they were proly more like 12th (i think that's when most ppl turn 18 right?) but he made his point.
i tested out my Etymotic ER-20s tonite and they worked pretty good, i'd recommend them. they didn't seem to distort the sound much at all and i don't think i hear any ringing at the moment. i just have a little bit of throbbing proly from my ears not being used to having rubbery plastic shoved in them for 6 hours straight.
interesting thing happened on the way home. we were on the bridge and traffic came to a stop. then all the black ppl opened their doors and got outta their cars and started dancing around while blasting their music... someone needs to tell them to stop supporting stereotypes that portray them as a lower class in society |

i would but i don't think im goin to that
on another note, i woke up this morning and my ears were ringing a bit, guess i couldn't hear it last nite cuz it wasn't quiet enough. the ringing isn't as bad as usual but i was just hoping that i would have no ringing cuz at last popsicle i don't remember any ringing and i used regular foam hearos. maybe it depends on how close i was to the speakers cuz last nite i was only like 3 feet away from the speakers on the right but i wasn't that far away from em at pop either so ionno, i'll try the ER-20s again next time |
