An Ad for Global news that i saw today went something like this:

This cop who protected the president of the United States was turned down for immigration to Canada. MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A ROMANIAN STRIPPER. Watch the story on Monday.

........ yeah... talk about unbiased reporting!

Media is getting less and less subtle about trying to program it's viewers' thoughts it seems.

:whip: :whip:

I can see a ROMANIAN STRIPPER protecting Dubya. :tongue2

And who would protect her from Laura? LOL

I can't stand Global news. While the content and coverage might be better the news itself is presented with such bias. I don't watch City TV news for the news, just for some laughs but if I really do want some unbiased (well, with the least amount) news I watch CBC or CTV.

ps. I used to work at the National Post headquarters and let me tell you, they have no love for the liberals. :)

CBC is VERY biased.
infinity HiGH
I find CBC to be the most informative, from the choices we have here.

Leave it to good ol' Global.

I would've expected something hilarious like that out of the mouth of Mark Dailey.

You guys are kidding right? Global might be a bit conservative-leaning but they're FAR more even-handed than the CBC. The CBC is essentially the LPC's propaganda station.

Ya think ^^^^^^^^^;)

I don't even bother with the news. When I do check it, it's BBC UK.
