Are there any other synth with the supersaw waveform from roland? |

the new version of the Roland V-Synth is supposed to have it. Aside for that, no. |

The Roland SH-32 has a supersaw waveform. They can be had for $125 -$150 on ebay. I personally like the sound of the SH-32. |

sounds like a plan. Does anyone know if the supersaw sounds like the
JP 8000 supersaw?

the v-synth though is an amzing synth in its own right. with the newest v synth and the v synth xt you are essentially getting an amazing synth + a jp8080 on top as well as some extra stuff on top. the vocoder on that is truly mindblowing.
the sh-32 does have a supersaw waveform but it doesnt exactly sound like a jp. the filter steps (like a zipper) and is not smooth like the jp for starters. it also sounds slightly more metallic and colder. but then it costs alot less. some people really like the sound of the sh-32 though. |

some guy called rb2k1 on these forums made a supersaw vsti synth which was pretty good. And some people have replicated the sound closely using FM Synth.
This is, if you prefer to go software... |
