Trainspotting Sasha.... (FUR in Washington, D.C.)

I just got back from FUR in Washington, D.C... It was an absolutely brilliant show, Sasha had me dancing for 3 hours non-stop.

Although I was paying close attention, I could only trainspot four songs the entire night. There was a little "Wavy Gravy" melody at the end, but I'm not counting that. Here's what he played:

1. Fisherspooner - Just Let Go (Thin White Duke remix)
2. Kraftwerk - Aerodynamik (Etienne De Crecy remix)
3. Donna Summer - I Feel Love
4. The Killers - Mr. Brightside (Thin White Duke w/ breakbeat remix)

It looks like Sasha is finally playing music that no one can recognize... Ableton Live! is a good thing. I am starting to recognize that before Live!, every DJ in the world had the same music as Sasha. Nowadays, no one can compete with him by doing simple CDJ/vinyl DJing... Sasha is really doing his homework by creating lots of custom-made samples and loops. The entire night had maybe 3 breakdowns. Non-stop banging beats and rolling basslines :)

What do you lot think about this?

I was more than was just impressed.

He's a creative genius and he doesn't seem to be content unless he's pushing the envelope into uncharted territories.

And that's why he's one of my favorite DJ's!

Sebastian Ingrosso - Get It Back
Soulwax - E-Talking (Soulwax Nite Version feat Nancy Whang)

if you knew why he uses ableton live and what that program can do then you would know what was going on besides just assloads of bass

True, but FUR's system leaves much to be desired.

im not giving any negative responses, sasha kicked ass, my first time, and he really knows how to put on a show, its just the system at fur sounds like nothing but bass sometimes, it really sucks
cryo
yeh they need some tweaking

i heard the music was banging.. but have heard many complaints about FUR and the crowd there, especially pertaining to this past saturday. hopefully FUR will get their act together.
