This weekend, a friend of mine who i see out clubbing, in my home town (hinckley, midlands england, UK), in a bar 15mins from me, broke the world non-stop DJ record, and set the record now at 84hrs!
He did an interview with Dave Pearce on BBC Radio. if u wish to hear the interview, go to www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 click the listen live option. It'll give u a selection of all the shows, find "Radio 1's Dance Anthems with Dave Pearce", and once the show starts, wind it forward 60mins (4x15mins). The show starts at 7pm (UK time), and the interview is at 8:02pm.
well done Genix. Hes also on this forum, he might see this. |

| apparently there has to be at least one person dancing throughout the record attempt (can be different people dancing throughout).. |

I have plans to beat this- my aim will be 100 hours. Idea has been floating around for a while.
-cant play the same record twice
-as with all endurance records, you are allowed breaks at specific intervals (albeit pretty short breaks- like under 5 mins)
no it doesnt have to be beatmatched. lol. the music has to be continuous, that is all. So gallop all the way :stongue:
Fair play to the guy :) |
