im going through the motions of finding a college and all that goes along with it, but i have a few questions for the experiences ones.
1. What and why did u choose the college u now go to?
2. What major(s) are you currently studying and why?
3. What are your plans after college? Are you moving on to graduate studies or to start your career?
4. What career field are you interested or planning on entering, and why?
this all seems to gigantic to me, maybe its the teachers blowing it up making it seem like college will be freaking impossible. |

Wentworth Institute Of Technology because its one of the cheapest schools in Boston :) and they've got a good reputation + co-op program.
Studying computer science because...umm...I like talking on AIM. Haha.
After college, I plan on working for IBM...I already have one semester of co-op done with them...so hopefully they'll hire me when I graduate.
Plan on entering software development, programming, ect...
College isn't all what teachers make it up to be. Hell, I remember my freshman year, wow, definitely not what I was expecting. College, at least for me so far is a complete joke. Perhaps its my major, I dunno. Current GPA is a 3.59. Should be higher but I party too much and skip way too many classes.
Heres a tip...just get your ass to class. You'd be surprised how much that helps :P. I learned that real quick yet I still can't manage to get to any of my classes that are before noon :stongue: |

1. I chose Oglethorpe University because I wanted to be a writer. I thought a Liberal Arts education was the one for me so i could be a well rounded human being. Not only would I gain knowledge in writing but id gain it in other fields (pertaining to myself in this world mostly and where i might fit in- at least that's what i got from those classes)
Oh and i chose this college because it was in a city. I went to Penn State during the summer before i started college (just to check things out) and i didnt like the college town vibe. Im a city boy. Plus its in Georgia.....georiga was hotter than all the northern colleges i was accepted to. Fuk the cold.
2. Communications major/ Philosophy minor (im a senior)
3. Im taking a year off from school. I want to feel the work force before i continue school to get some experience under my wing :)
4. Advertising, i guess. But i really have no idea what i could do. I dont want a desk job, and i surely cant handle boring crap. I really dont know what kind of job would make me happy. But it seems like im heading to advertising.
-thats all for now-

| create a 'circle of life' by cutting a round disk that is round & circular out of cardboard & write down 6 possiblities on it. 3 of those possibilities are colleges. 1 is an art college, another is a technology college & the third is a business college. the other 3 possibilities are as following as follow the follower: become a bum & hitchhick the globe, sell your body to buy drugs & the last is to become a council worker. Now scull a beer. With the empty bottle, put it in the middle of the 'circle of life' & spin. As the bottle spins you scull shots of vodka (keep on chuggen for as long as the bottle spins). What ever the bottle lands on is what you become. ;) |

I wouldn't recommend cigarettes (you'll probably start smoking anyways or more than you do now) but I would recommend doing lots of drugs. Go easy on the weed though, remember time management and don't become a pot head. |
That's just bad advice.
