I don't have much formal education on the 'theory' side of things, so I've been studying it a lot. (The notation doesn't work too well for electronica...but being able to read sheet music has certain plagerism advantages...)
So, thought I was doing pretty good at it. Came across a sheet. Didn't know what it was. Started humming out the music. It was working well. Didn't recognize the tune.
Read down to the bottom.
It was Yankee Doodle Dandy.
And now I really don't like sheet music.
funny tho.
