Michael Mayer is the kompakt poster boy... He recently had a remix of a stylophonic(sp?) track on the recent digweed fabriq CD...

last night was awesome...great ing crowd...the women were ing incredible...and i was the only TA there, meaning im the only NYTA with taste...i was surprised Wang didnt show up...

anyway, i definitely enjoyed michael mayer's set, however, at fabric in london over the summer he was a lot more experimental, dropping more beeps and bops than he did last night...last night he was a lot more, how you say, conventional...

jake fairley ing owned...he has that james holden quality to him: he looks like he was beaten up one too many times in kindergarten and spent the rest of his years at home watching star trek and creating mindnumbing beats...he probably spends all of his free time at star trek conventions...he was probably interviewed in that documentary Trekkies...

bye...

...and the women were ing hot...

I can get down with some of the Kompakt stuff but too much of it is boring. IMO...it lacks soul.
Now that I mention that...99.9% of edm today lacks soul. Give me something new...I'm bored.
