So what would you do? |

Hahahaha
You see the same thing with "Yield" signs... and half the time they don't even mean yield to oncoming traffic, they mean yield to pedestrians. |

Flashing red light
You must come to a complete stop at a flashing red light. Move through the intersection only when it is safe.
Flashing yellow light
A flashing yellow light means you should drive with caution when approaching and moving through the intersection.
Blank traffic lights
During an electrical power loss, traffic lights at intersections will not work. Yield the right-of-way to vehicles in the intersection and to vehicles entering the intersection from your right. Go cautiously and use the intersection the same way you would use an intersection with all-way stop signs. |

You guys need to come and give the people of Oakville a driving lesson.
I was at a busy intersection today and all the idiots who had amber in front of me kept stopping as if it were 3-way. I knew i had the right of way so i went right after the other car without stopping and some guy almost t-boned me from the red side. I was so pissed off.
Its a relief to see that at least some people still know the rules of the road. |

Sometimes I find myself doing what everyone else is doing, like in this situation. Not because i think they may be right, but to avoid an accident. I know they're wrong... but... if the 5 seconds it takes to stop, will save me headaches in the future, ill do it. |

Whereas i think if they hit me due to their incompetance then it will teach them a lesson. |

#2
it's pretty scary how many people have a very poor understanding of the rules of the road.
if they didn't know #2 was the answer, they get *some* credit for at least treating it like a 4 way stop...better than the jackasses who just go with the flow of traffic and sail through blank lights (I see that *all* the time when lights are out :whip: ) |
