They are both awesome tracks.
I like ORBITAL's version better, 'cuz it brings back sweet memories.
CHICANE's track is a "now" track. It's a really good uplifting piece if placed correctly in a set. |

ORBITAL - HALCYON - and subsequesnt re-release on + on ....is one of those tracks that are timeless......not only from an EDM standard of measure but from a commerical point of view (MORTAL COMBAT - SOUNDTRACK).....etching itself upon the consciousness of the 90's psyche like POKEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
another example of crossover/genre defining EDM - NEW ORDER - CONFUSION - PUMP PANEL REMIX (BLADE SOUNDTRACK) original 1996 release....- when people said this TECHNO is cool.......yet they dissed every other track that sounded like it because it was not from the movie...STUPID NOOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goes to show how powerful movies/image are to pushing a track out of normal bounds of acceptance.......:D |

They are both Extremely Beautiful songs
but maybe i prefer Halcyon
Especially, Chicane - Halcyon (NPQ Remix), dunno who remix this, btu it seems to be chicane himself.
what i love form this track , its that is so peaceful relaxing, & Euphoric at the same time, its amazing. |
