Here's my review on In Search of Sunrise 4
After listening to both cd's , i have to conclude that his approach was quite different than the last 3 albums of this series, but it is definitely a positive album and wrotht eh purchase. The first 3 were 1 cd albums each with no prog, this is a double cd with a mix of trance and progressive
cd 1 is strictly a chillout cd, with great tracks that are old and new.
cd2 starts off amazing with some sweet trancey yet chilling tunes, then gets harder and more progressive between tracks 7-10 before returning to trance once more til the end of the cd.
im anxious to see what other people thought, i tried to review this album with a non-biased point of view but i really feel it delivers in what it sets out to accomplish - which is an album that maintains the 'chillout' feeling that this series is known for.
A good mix of trance and prog in my opinion though, and definitely worth the purchase.
btw the mixing was decent for all those anti-tiesto nerds that are reading this
cd 2 is the better cd though, not to take anything away from cd 1. the first song on cd 2, estuera - palma salone is AMAZING. |

i think cd 1 OWNS Cd 2, but overall an awsome package,
track #2 (tonedepth & soultan - moments) on cd 1 is tune of the year for me, even if its old hehe
its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO F**** GOOOOOOOOOOOOD its addicting!!!!
o and how can we forget track 6: coca & vila - la noche :D
the guitars in these two tracks are to die for!:crazy: |

ive only heard that isos4 sample, but i agree, that track is sickk |

I'm loving the addition of prog in his mixes, but his tracks need to be more up to date.
Jase From Outter Space? Christ that's last summer. I've played it to death and then proceeded to play its breaks mix to death.
Tilt - Twelve (Dousk mix) is great but also not up to the minute material. Gravity's dated too.
Maybe just cause he's getting into prog he's not getting all the up front promo's from the artists. Who knows...
But a big congratulations goes out to RON for getting your track featured in this mix. I love when dj's throw in these tracks from up and coming artists. In a way, this is how tiesto keeps it at least somewhat fresh.

Such a boring CD.
I'm glad I only downloaded it for Junkie XLs mix of Tiesto - UR. After I rip it from the mp3 I'm going to delete the CD and swear I never heard it. |
