I stopped watching college football years ago so I dont know any of these players well (well 1 of them I do ill mention later in the post)
I just hope the Dolphins use the pick wisely.I heard they were looking into getting a running back, and the name thats brought up is Cadillac Williams and Cedric Benson
I went to highschool and now college with Antrel, he told me his agent thinks he'll go in the top 10 |

You mean his position or his name? It's a nickname. ;)
Alex Smith at #2 and no Greene in the first round? Someone is smoking crack. Dolphins better draft a RB, Ronnie Brown would be the best choice but it will probably be Benson. I'm hoping Edwards drops to #13 so the Texans can pick him up, as I'm a Michigan and Texan fan. :D Ernest Shazor should be going in the first round before Marlin Jackson, too. |

| I had seen that the Dolphins were looking at the texas linebacker derrick Johnson.Tampa needs to take an offensive tackle...badly |

Shamez, nice sig. That dunk was ridiculous!!
Anyway, the Falcons won't draft an O-Lineman. That's what they got OL coach Alex Gibbs for. They don't want to waste high picks on fat whiteboys. :D Gibbs likes to teach young guys to do it his way.
But you never know what GM Rich McKay might be thinking. |

i guess we can start talking about the draft, since it is coming up in about 8 weeks or so .. nice mock draft there, but the biggest two concerns is how michael williams and maurice clarett are going to perform at the nfl combine in the next couple of weeks .. it's going to be make or break for them .. if they're going to be first day picks or those second day picks people wonder about ..
they say michael williams is too small and slow to be a wide receiver and maurice clarett is too slow and doesn't have enough moves to be a quality running back .. then again, they said ed reed could not make it through the nfl with his slow speed (i think he clocked 4.7 at the nfl combines ..), and look at him now .. and they also said kyle boller had a legitimate chance to bring baltimore some offense .. not ..

i don't know much about college football .. i follow it here and there .. but i do know what the nfl teams need to beef up their squads for next year .. of course, you thought right with my hometown saints by picking a defensive back .. they always do in the first round .. never pick up some offensive lineman .. was a bust last year and the year before with their draft picks ..
analysis of top 5 picks :
san francisco -- i wouldn't be surprised if they go after mike williams .. they desperately need a big play wide receiver, and he's the guy .. rattay and dorsey look fine at qbs .. don't need to stir more controversey ..
miami -- may need a quarterback .. not sure .. i don't know who to blame for their dismal season .. a poor quarterback, or a poor offensive line .. maybe they need a good running back to cover for a mediocre quarterback .. miami sounds like a team that wants quick results, and if they want quick results, they need a versatile running back ..
cleveland -- romeo carnel is in town .. his main concern is defense .. so they will pick up a defensive guy .. no other pick .. i don't think he will touch the offense ..
chicago -- where do we start from here ?? that whole offense needs some work to be done .. defense can slide, because i can see lovie smith creating a monster defense with anybody on his squad .. i cant say much at quarterback, because grossman (last year's pick) didn't have the opportunity to show what he is worth .. they have the a-train, and some quick wideouts .. wouldn't be surprised if the bears go for a DE blitzer, because lovie smith loves to implement blitz attacks ..
tampa bay .. big mistake picking up williams .. pittman is a great versatile running back .. tampa bay needs a ol more than another running back .. |

McKay when he was with tampa loved taking defensive linemen in the first round and then taking a corner or safety usually between 2nd - 4th round..Falcons need a receiver badly though.....Mike williams should be their man if they can get him.
Moss reportedly traded to the Raiders for lb napoleon harris anfd the 7th pick in this years draft(wow) |

Most Rams fans, including myself, desperately want a good LB. While a CB would be aiight I think I'd prefer someone like Crowder, ILB from Florida. The Rams have let it be known that they want some bigger defensive players (preferably those that are sipping on Giambi's juice). I hear the depth at the corners is strong this year
so better to take one in round 2-4. I'd like a good OT too. I wish the Rams would get Derrick Johnson but he's long gone by then.
Does anybody want Randy Moss? I think he'll end up staying anyway. Seeing him on the Raiders though seems to fit.
I think Drew Bledsoe is a good fit for the Cowboys. Parcells isn't looking for a superstar at that position anyway.
Pac-man Jones... I want the Rams to get him just for the name. |

Despite his lack of coaching a game for them, even Carnel realizes that theyre not succesful because they dont have an offensie line. The problem is, their isnt really a O lineman that good this year arent worth taking so high (E Brown out of Viriginia looked good, but didnt play to expectations). Wouldnt be suprised to see them trade down to where they could get Brown or another top O lineman, while getting a bit for trading down, perhaps a solid defensive starter. |
