Hardware to pan specific frequencies

Is there any dj mixing hardware that would allow me to pan certain frequencies? For example allowing the user to pan just the highs, with a knob, and not some sort of auto-pan effect.

If u get a Denon DN-X1500 you can do this. All you would have to do is assign the same source (the cool matrix system) to two channels and have them both open at the same time. Have one channel playing with Low and Mid on and the High all the way down, then on the other channel do the exact opposite (with the high on only) and route that channel to the effects and then use the pan. That should get ur desired effect, and could be done with any of the eq's :) |

That is true, you can do this, I've done it before, but you can't manually pan, it is all automatic, but you can set it to 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 1/1, 2/1, 4/1, 8/1, and it has manual timing aswell, so you can select in miliseconds how it pans, the mixer does have a manual pan knob, but it effects the master output. |
