sure the tsunami was on for a lot shorter time than say 911, but how about all the other that happens that we get no coverage of
whens the last time you saw a news story about something political in africa?
and i watch the evening news almost every night and it seems to usually be a good thing to base my views on but i realize that it probably doesn't accurately represent the media as a whole
but i also listen to npr a few days a week for 20-30 minutes in the morning when they're doing world news and i still rarely hear about anything from africa

people should assume every sweeping statement made in the COR is a generalization, and that of course there are exceptions
and for the record, thats the first i've heard of that story
that's very likely due to me not completely regularly listening to/watching the news though :toothless |

not only the us but this generation is a flash news generation. whateer u hear, it will get pounded into ur head.. and then puff.. gone. we have short attention spans. hopefully things will continue to flow as normal = funds
