| I just saw the trailer for this movie, It's unlike any movie ever seen or done, It's live action, But they completely animated right over it giving it this unique artistic style, Like a living comic book, It's based on a popular comic book and it stars Keanu Reaves, Check out the trailer here. |

| this does look cool! they did that with a movie called Waking Life too... every scene was done in a different style of animation, it's nuts!!! check it out... preferably when *not* sober ;) |

| this type of animation has alrady been dont before in a flick....theres some independent flick i forget the name that did it..a few years back. |

This is based on a graphic novel, Which is the reason why the film will look the way it does. |

I believe you are mistaken. It's a classic SF book written by Philip K. Dick.
As for the style, the fact that the director did Waking Life is the most likely reason for the visual presentation. |
